Flight Instruction
Primary, instrument, and Cirrus transition training out of KFXE. Part 61, ACS-aligned, taught in SR20.

Aviation Entrepreneur. CFII. Founder of The Pilot Port.
Building a vertically integrated aviation platform across South Florida and Central Texas — flight training, aircraft management, brokerage, and charter, powered by a proprietary tech layer.

I earned my CFI at nineteen — one of the youngest flight instructors in South Florida — and started teaching out of KFXE in a Cirrus SR20.
What I saw inside legacy flight schools wasn't a training problem. It was an infrastructure problem. So I built The Pilot Port — a full-stack aviation platform spanning flight training, lead generation, aircraft management, sourcing, and charter, with a proprietary tech layer called AeroTech underneath.
Today TPP operates out of KFXE in South Florida and KTKI in Central Texas, runs a six-aircraft fleet under Part 61 / 91, and manages aircraft for corporate clients across both coasts.
Primary, instrument, and Cirrus transition training out of KFXE. Part 61, ACS-aligned, taught in SR20.
Full-service management for corporate clients across pistons, turboprops, and jets — including SR20, TBM 940, Citation III/V, and Challenger 601/604.
Sourcing, acquisition, and charter operations bridging piston and turbine clients through vetted operator partnerships.
POH-faithful checklists, training syllabi, and operational systems for owners and small operators.
The Pilot Port is a vertically integrated aviation company operating out of KFXE (Fort Lauderdale Executive) in South Florida and KTKI (McKinney, TX) in Central Texas — a six-aircraft fleet running Part 61 and Part 91 operations.
Five verticals — training, lead generation and resale, management, sourcing and brokerage, and charter — sit on top of AeroTech, our proprietary tech layer. That's what separates us from legacy flight schools.

Through select partnerships with established jet operators in Dallas and South Florida, The Pilot Port supports charter, aircraft management, and high-end client flow at the turbine and jet level.
I serve as the operational bridge — moving clients from piston training into turbine and jet operations without losing continuity.
POH-faithful checklists, SOPs, training syllabi, aviation content, and the business systems behind them.
Jashn Gulati is a Fort Lauderdale–based aviation entrepreneur and FAA-certificated CFI and CFII. He is the founder and CEO of The Pilot Port (thepilotport.com), a vertically integrated aviation company operating a six-aircraft fleet out of KFXE in South Florida and KTKI in Central Texas. He earned his CFI at age 19 — among the youngest flight instructors in South Florida.
The Pilot Port operates from two bases: Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE) in South Florida and McKinney National Airport (KTKI) in the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area of Central Texas. Both bases run flight training, aircraft management, and brokerage operations under Part 61 and Part 91.
Jashn flies and instructs primarily in the Cirrus SR20 and SR22 and the Diamond DA40. He also has experience in the Daher TBM 940 turboprop and operates and manages the Cessna Citation III, Citation V, and Bombardier Challenger 601 and 604 business jets through The Pilot Port.
Yes. Jashn is an active CFI and CFII teaching private pilot, instrument, commercial, and Cirrus transition training out of Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE) under FAA Part 61. Training is delivered in The Pilot Port's Cirrus SR20 fleet and aligned to the current FAA Airman Certification Standards (ACS).
The Pilot Port operates five verticals: Part 61 flight training, lead generation and resale, aircraft management for owners and corporates, aircraft sourcing and brokerage, and charter coordination. All five sit on top of AeroTech, a proprietary technology layer built in-house.
Pricing varies by certificate and aircraft. Cirrus SR20 dual instruction is billed by Hobbs hour, with separate ground instruction rates. For a current rate sheet and discovery call, email fly@thepilotport.com.
Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE) is the premier general aviation field in South Florida, with two long runways, a control tower, and minimal congestion compared to KFLL. The Pilot Port is based at KFXE and trains in Cirrus SR20 aircraft — modern glass-cockpit airplanes with the CAPS whole-airframe parachute system.
